No, no. Satan, the fallen Archangel and King Saul. In that location seems to exist some misunderstanding.

    Your quote:
Satan? Satan was a "person" who was "saved" once?

Where is it written that Satan was a person who was "saved"?

    Simply seeking clarity.

That is tough to explain. It appears Hebrews is written more for the benefit of OC Hebrews.

Jesus and the Apostles were sent to the Jews to become them away from OC Judaism and Hebrews appears mainly to be focused on that, along with their Priesthood and the Temple ordinances.
The word word sacrifice is used 7 out of but 10 times used in the NT.
Sacrifices is used 11 out of only16 times in the NT

    Hebrews ix:26
He then would have had to endure ofttimes since the foundation of the world; merely at present, once at the end of the ages, He has appeared to put abroad sin by the sacrifice of Himself.

    Hebrews 10:
eight Previously saying, "Sacrifice and offer, burnt offerings, and offerings for sin You did non desire, nor had pleasure in them" (which are offered according to the constabulary ),
26 If nosotros deliberately continue sinning afterward we accept received the knowledge of the truth, no farther cede for sins remains,
29 How much more severely practice you think ane deserves to be punished who has trampled on the Son of God, profaned the blood of the covenant that sanctified him, and insulted the Spirit of grace?

    two Peter 2:21
It would have been better for them not to take known the way of righteousness than to have known it and turned away from the holy commandment passed on to them.

    Romans 2:
23 Who in police force are boasting through the transgression of the Law, the God 1000 are dishonoring
24 'For the name of the God because of ye , is being blasphemed in the nations' co-ordinate as information technology has been written.
    '
    [Psalm 74:10]

    Reve 16:11
And they blaspheme the God of the heaven out of the miseries of them, and out of the sores of them, and not they reform out of the works of them

Here is an interesting commentary on information technology:

Hebrews 6:6 and then have fallen away--to be restored again to repentance, because they themselves are crucifying the Son of God all over again and subjecting Him to open shame.

6:half dozen Seeing they crucify.--The betrayment was indicated by a single word; these added clauses describe the depth of the fall, whilst they explain the futility of all endeavor towards recovering the fallen. Both the writer and his readers knew well what was involved in "falling away" in such a case as this.

To go dorsum to Judaism implied an acceptance of all that Jews had said and done against the Son of God, a return to the biting detest cherished by the falling nation confronting the Crucified, a repetition in spirit of all that Pharisees had washed, and without the palliation of ignorance; for the highest evidence for Christianity--that of true and deep Christian feel--had been given to them.

Once again, the words used clearly describe a continuing country. Not the punishment for a past act, but the hopelessness of an existing state, is brought before us here. It is therefore of those who, with a distinct conviction of the divine mission of Jesus, have deliberately joined His foes, unite in denouncing Him as a "deceiver" (Matthew 27:63), rejoice in His shame, and thus "for themselves excruciate a 2d time the Son of God," that the writer says, "It is impossible to renew them once more unto repentance."

  8. But the Father in sky through Jesus tin can reveal how that all fits together,
and necessarily protecting you with His Mercy when He does reveal this,
    considering
so many all around you lot have and are continually re-crucifying Christ daily with the already gained result of being condemned because of their unbelief.
Recollect of the enormity of that, and trust the Begetter to wait until it is HIS Time to reveal this to y'all - so you lot are non utterly devastated and overwhelmed with the implications and the grief and the sorrow you will experience when He Grants you His Understanding.
He does know perfectly what is all-time, and what is all-time for you, including what time for you to know annihilation..... and so let it remainder in His Hands -
permit your whole life residual in His Hands, all the time, every twenty-four hours, as He Pleases.
  9. how do they crucify Christ once again to their ain harm? is it saying that every time they effort to repent, they nail Him to the cantankerous again in their minds? thus incurring more and more sentence on themselves? like, if someone partakes of communion in an unworthy manner? because whenever they partake in an unworthy mode, they are drinking judgement on themselves. Is it similar? or is it saying that they recrucified Christ once, when they went into sin? like, when Esau was searching for repentance, or the inheritance, (I think he was looking for repentance) and he found no room for repentance, if he did that every mean solar day for a year, every bit a christian, begging God for forgiveness, and non finding the ability to apologize, do they simply collect a massive amount of wrath? putting Jesus Christ to an open shame every time they ask God to forgive them?
    English Standard Version
and then have fallen away, to restore them again to repentance, since they are crucifying once again the Son of God to their own harm and holding him up to contempt.

Simply put, if a believer falls away from salvation in Christ, they cannot come back into conservancy in Christ.

Maybe if yous took into account but who Paul was really writing this book, it might help you to understand, information technology does not apply to Gentile Christians, he was trying to get them to understand there was a difference between their following the Law and beingness forgiven year afterward yr and their post-obit Christ and receiving their Salvation, (ONCE).
  12. This is true of Christian "partakers of holy spirit" who autumn abroad by sinning-at least-willfully against the holy spirit, and thus harden themselves against ever repenting. Jesus Christ mentioned such sin to the Jews who maliciously misinterpreted the functioning of God's holy spirit through him. (Matthew. 12:31, 32; compare Hebrews vi:4-6; ten:26-31) Hence nothing could be gained and the opportunity would be wasted by resurrecting such ones to life in the arrangement of things that is to come nether God's kingdom.

Due to a lack of faith, Christians may begin to globe-trotting abroad. It requires no effort; but to commence "drawing abroad" involves the taking of definite action. Though we may still be ceremoniously petitioning God in an effort to retain His favor, we may notwithstanding begin to become rebellious against Him by taking backward steps. This was the attitude and course taken past the fleshly Israelites as a nation right down to Malachi's fourth dimension. (Malachi. 3:7) Considering what the apostle Paul wrote, he is not speaking about a weak religion that has resulted from bereft noesis or wrong understanding. Rather, he quotes the warning, "Do not harden your hearts." That is what the fleshly Israelites did in the wilderness, although they had there seen Jehovah'southward "works for 40 years," having enjoyed his constant miraculous provisions and protection. (Hebrews. 3:vii-11) Therefore, all true Christians today need continually to help and encourage ane some other so as to avoid taking astern steps due to condign "hardened by the deceptive power of sin." We should exhort one some other to keep our organized religion alive by works of organized religion. Call back, Abraham acted obediently in faith under astringent test and thus "came to be called 'Jehovah'due south friend.'"-Hebrews three:13, 14; James 2:21-26.

Nosotros should take these warnings to heart. Loss of faith may begin with our allowing ourselves to have things for granted, showing a spirit of indifference, almost imperceptibly drifting away. One faux pace or attitude easily leads to another until we have gone too far, and nosotros find we have fallen abroad to the bespeak of no recovery. Earlier that happens Jehovah will no doubt subject area usa to some discipline, which Paul talks about in this aforementioned letter and which counsel we should wisely accept. (Hebrews 12:five-eleven) Of grade, simply Jehovah God and Christ Jesus can decide if a person has reached the point where it is incommunicable for him to be revived again to repentance.

This is often considered the scariest verse and most misunderstood poetry in the bible. But it is non scary at all when you have it in context.. A tip for studying the bible, when reading the poetry, always read the passages earlier that verse and even the book as a whole in general to know what the verse is referring to and what it's talking about. It's easy to make our own assumptions when not taking a verse in context merely merely taking the verse itself equally it is at face value.

Hebrews six:4-8 isn't most losing salvation. It's saying not to go back to expressionless works of the police. Information technology'due south describing how Jesus sacrificed himself once, it's impossible for him to practise information technology once again. It is simply saying to trust in him rather than the constabulary as he was the final cede. As you read the verse before, it is talking almost repentance from expressionless works and into organized religion in Jesus. Because many levitical people at the fourth dimension wanted to hang on to the dead works of the levitical law at the time.

iv For as touching those who were one time enlightened and tasted of the heavenly souvenir, and were made partakers of the Holy Spirit, 5 and tasted the good word of God, and the powers of the age to come,

Those who are Baptized in which all sins and temporal punishment due to sin is wiped abroad.

6 and [so] savage away, it is incommunicable to renew them again unto repentance; seeing they excruciate to themselves the Son of God afresh, and put him to an open shame.

We sin, we incur sentence and temporal punishment due to sin. Nosotros cannot exist re-baptized and be washed clean of sin and all temporal punishment.

Although granted the awesome gift of the Sacrament of Baptism (and its effects), one chooses to sin, and this sin was why He was crucified.
